Kimberly MacDowell serves on the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for developing and driving growth strategies at Accumen and its portfolio companies. Her passion for capturing customer sentiment while also meeting market needs fuels her success at Accumen.
Kimberly brings more than 20 years of healthcare sales, marketing and operations experience to the team. Prior to Accumen, she was the Commercial General Manager for a biotech start-up where she was responsible for building and scaling the company’s U.S. commercial footprint, including all sales and marketing efforts. Kimberly also has significant senior management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having restructured, built and led sales teams for both branded and generic drugs. She has overseen the product label development and commercial launch of brands with current revenues of $250M to $7B.
Kimberly holds a B.A. degree in Business Management from the University of San Francisco and an MBA in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona.
